Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a scathing attack on the opposition group INDIA on Tuesday, claiming that the goal of this election is to punish people who disagree with the Indian Constitution and the Central government’s attempts to transform the nation into a “Viksit Bharat.” Additionally, he charged that the leaders of the opposition, namely the RJD and the Congress, were manipulating the Constitution for political purposes. “This election is only to punish ‘Ghamandia’ (arrogant) alliance leaders,” the prime minister declared during a speech at an election rally in the Gaya district of Bihar. Its purpose is to punish those who oppose the Center’s efforts to transform India into a “Viksit Bharat,” or developed India, and who are against the Constitution.” Jitan Ram Manjhi, the founder of Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM) and former chief minister of Bihar, is running as an NDA nominee from Gaya.
