At President Vladimir Putin’s request, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will go to Russia from October 22–23 in order to attend the 16th BRICS Summit in Kazan, the MEA announced on Friday.
The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) released a statement stating that the prime minister is scheduled to meet one-on-one with invited leaders and equivalents from BRICS member nations while in Kazan.
“Strengthening Multilateralism for Just Global Development and Security” is this year’s summit topic. It stated that it will offer leaders a crucial forum for debating significant international concerns.
