Owner Upset After Ghaziabad Election Officer Seizes Private Cars

According to those aware with the situation, the Ghaziabad Regional Transport Department provided district officials a list of over 4,000 private cars, because they wish to take these vehicles for election purposes.

Additionally, there are 700–800 five-seven passenger cars on the list, including SUVs, whose owners have expressed objections against this order of department.

The transport department officials stated that they are in charge of organizing the transportation needed for the election and that they have sent a list that includes larger vehicles like trucks, buses, and loaders in addition to private cars like Scorpio, Bolero, and Ertiga, which can accommodate up to seven passengers.

The owners of the cars stated that they are vehemently against this action.
