PM Modi makes a major announcement over Kashmir: “J&K would receive the status

On Friday, April 12, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced that the restoration of statehood in Jammu and Kashmir would be accompanied by assembly elections in the near future.

The important declaration is made in front of the approaching Lok Sabha elections, which are set to start on April 19.

The Prime Minister expressed his vision for a “wonderful picture of new Jammu and Kashmir” during an electoral rally in Udhampur, Jammu and Kashmir.

“Modi has long-term vision. So far, only the trailer has been released. I have to get to work painting a fresh and fantastic portrait of the modern-day Jammu and Kashmir. Jammu and Kashmir Assembly Elections will take place in a short while. The statehood of Jammu and Kashmir will be granted. Your ministers and MLA will be able to hear about your dreams,” the PM stated.
