It’s possible that Tesla is looking for a local partner to launch its business in India. According to a report by The Hindu Businessline on April 9, the US electric car company is exploring the possibility of forming a joint venture with Reliance to build a manufacturing plant in the nation.
According to reports, Tesla has set aside $2 billion for its upcoming projects in India and has been looking at a number of places, including Maharashtra and Gujarat, for possible plant locations. The report supposedly stated that Maharashtra is becoming the preferred option.
