Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt has opened out on juggling the demands of being a working mother with the guilt of abandoning her own mother. She welcomed daughter Raha Kapoor with actor-husband Ranbir Kapoor in 2022.
Actress Soni Razdan, Alia’s mother, once told daughter that she wouldn’t want Raha to leave home when she was just starting her career. “I remember when I was pregnant and shooting in London for Heart of Stone, I couldn’t sleep for three days because I felt so guilty about how maybe I wasn’t a good enough daughter,” Alia remembered in an interview with The Nod Mag. Soni responded, “She works hard on her mental health,” to this.
