Due to a bomb threat, a Vistara flight from Delhi to London was rerouted to Frankfurt on Friday.
An airline representative said in a statement early on Saturday morning that the flight safely touched down at Frankfurt airport and that required inspections are now underway. After the flight has been cleared by the security services, it will proceed to its destination.
On October 18, 2024, Vistara flight UK17, which was scheduled to depart from Delhi for London, received a security threat over social media. The pilots chose to divert the flight to Frankfurt as a precaution and notified all pertinent authorities promptly, in accordance with protocol, according to the spokeswoman.
